Welcome to the Sky x Van Gogh Project, a community art collaboration celebrating the upcoming Dear Van Gogh season. Artists will reimagine specific Vincent van Gogh paintings through the world of Sky, recreating them with Sky characters and scenery.Starting July 17, participating artists will share their finished pieces on their own accounts over a two-week period, while tagging @skygoghproject for us to reshare/repost!
About the Project
> WHAT IS THE SKY X VAN GOGH PROJECT?
The Sky x Van Gogh Project is a community art collaboration celebrating the upcoming Dear Van Gogh season in Sky: Children of the Light.Artists will recreate or reimagine an existing Vincent van Gogh painting using Sky characters, environments, spirits, cosmetics, and themes.> HOW DO I JOIN?
Starting June 15, the sign-up form will open. Fill the form with your details and pitch three different Vincent van Gogh paintings you’d like to recreate. Artists will be contacted on June 22 via email and assigned one of their chosen pieces to work on. Assignments will be shared in the Discord via a Google Sheet upon entry.> WILL MULTIPLE ARTISTS BE ASSIGNED THE SAME PAINTING?
Our goal is to give each artist a unique Vincent van Gogh painting to recreate. However, if we have a larger amount of participants, multiple artists may be assigned the same piece. In those cases, we'll make sure each artist approaches it with a different interpretation so every artwork feels unique.> WHERE CAN I FIND MORE OF VAN GOGH'S WORK?

No, AI-generated content will not be allowed as this project is meant to celebrate and showcase human artists.
